Idaho trip day two ~ Busy already

One of my favorite views from my Carlson Grandparents back yard. They have an amazing deck that you can sit on and enjoy the beautiful summer weather and watch the golfers go by.
We are busy having fun already! We slept in. Grandpa Paul picked Caviston up and took him fishing at a little pond, they had no luck. While they were gone I unpacked and cleaned out the car. After that I took the rest of the kids out to my Price Grandparents house. This is what I found Caviston doing. Grandpa Paul taught him how to drive the 4-wheeler.
Rylyn and I walked around and said Hi to all of the horses.
After that we went to my Cousin Marie house.
Riding in the truck with Grandpa
Breven passed out in the car on the way there. I just had to take a picture of this.
Watch out for these girls
After we left my Cousin Marie's house we went to Downata for the twilight swimming session. Downata is a swimming pool that has three slides. It isn't very big but its fun. My cousin Lisa had a birthday party for her twins there tonight. The are Rylyn's age. I didn't take any pictures as I was in the water all night but it was lots of fun.

Idaho Trip Day One ~ Long Day in the Car

We planned to leave Surprise around 7am but didn't get away until 9am which was 10am Idaho time. The kids all slept for the first little while. Probably thanks to the Dramamine that I had to give them. We stopped in Kingman for gas and lunch at McDonald's. Then we stopped in Las Vegas because my phone died and Chris couldn't get a hold of me. My phone charger wasn't working so he gave me his. So while we were there we went to the bathroom. Braelyn threw up just as I was putting her back in the car. Thankfully I had a change of clothes for her and it didn't get all over the car. We stopped in Fillmore and had Carl's Jr. for dinner. We had a few more stops along the way to go potty. Our last stop was Provo were we got gas for the last time. The kids slept the rest of the way and we got to Pocatello at 2am Pocatello time 1am Surprise time. 2 cute things I want to remember about this trip is Braelyn kept saying potty every time she wanted out of the car. Even though she isn't potty trained she knew we all went potty when we stopped. Braelyn really liked all the cows along the road and learned how to say "Moo" The kids did really well 15 hours in the car, 850 miles and just for my records $220.00 in gas. Here are some car pictures.

Welcome to Utah! I didn't get the welcome to Idaho picture because it was dark by then.
